Is it only for painters?

Yes. Every tool and feature in Kanvalo is designed for painting contractors. This isn’t a generic tool—it’s purpose-built for your business.

How do I get started?

Do I need to install anything?

Nope. Kanvalo is cloud-based. You can access it from any device—no downloads required.

Will someone help me set it up?

Yes. We handle the setup and offer onboarding support, including walkthroughs and one-on-one help if needed.

Can I create and send estimates?

Yes, Kanvalo includes an estimate builder. You can create and send professional proposals quickly.

Can I update business info or hours?

Yes. Just contact your account manager, and we’ll update your AI and profile for you.

Can I import contacts?

Yes, you can upload contacts via CSV—and we can assist if you need help.

Can I review conversations?

Yes. All conversations are stored in your dashboard for full transparency and review.

What if the AI makes a mistake?

Let us know. We’ll fix it and adjust the AI to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Can I turn off certain features?

Yes. Whether it's follow-ups, reminders, or anything else—you’re in control. Just tell us what you want changed.

💲 Pricing & Billing

How much does it cost?

Kanvalo is $197/month. That includes full access to the platform, AI Assistant, and all core features.

Are there any additional fees?

Yes, two optional usage-based fees may apply depending on how much you use messaging and voice:

  • Text Messages: $0.02 per messaging segment (charged only when the AI sends text messages)

  • Voice Calls: $0.13 per minute (charged only when the AI Assistant speaks to a customer over the phone)

There are no hidden fees, contracts, or onboarding costs—just the flat monthly rate plus any usage if applicable.

What is a messaging segment?

A messaging segment is a chunk of text in a text message, typically up to 160 characters. If a message is longer than that, it gets broken into multiple segments behind the scenes—even though it may look like one message to the customer.

For example:

  • A short message under 160 characters = 1 segment

  • A longer message (like an estimate follow-up) could = 2–3 segments depending on length

Important: The $0.02 per segment fee does not go to Kanvalo—it goes directly to Twilio, our messaging provider. We simply pass through the cost with no markup.

Most customers find that segment usage is low unless they send a large volume of texts.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Kanvalo is a flexible month-to-month service. Cancel anytime without penalty. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing cycle.

Will I have an account manager?

Yes. Every customer gets a dedicated account manager to support setup, training, and ongoing success.

What if I’m not seeing results?

We’ll review your setup, optimize your AI, and work with you to improve results. We’re here to help.

Can I schedule a success session?

Yes. You can request a strategy session anytime to review progress or make updates.

Is Kanvalo available outside the U.S.?

Currently, Kanvalo is only available in the U.S.
